Around the 15th of September each year the BMW Touring Club of NSW will be holding the FCR (Far Cairn Rally) All proceeds going to M.A.R.I Australia Inc.

This event is held at the Tottenham Racecourse. Entry is just $35.00 a head, This includes your camp site, entry, a bacon and egg roll with tea or coffee plus a badge to say you were there. Yes all this for $35.00. Also to commemorate this attendance, you can also purchase a quality "T" Shirt if you wish. Cost $35.00 get your order in early so you can have it on the day.

Our main list of supporters are below,

 

    After the success on our stand at the Sydney International Motor Cycle and Scooter Show in 2013 we have been flat out. So much has happened as well as a huge amount of interest in the trips we do and how individuals and businesses can support us or make a donation.

In 2013 we held stage one, a ride to Tottenham via Forbes a total of 1250K's round trip in three days, including being at Tottenham event held by BMW Touring Club of NSW in the Racecourse.

On 26th April 2014 stage two of our trips started in Sydney and went to Darwin via South Australia returning home via Out Back QLD and MSW.

On the 9th May 2015 the third stage was completed from Sydney to Moree, then to Charters Towers, Townsville & Cairns, before running back down the coast stopping at all the major centre's to the Qld Border, then Tamworth and home.

On the 20th, 21st & 22nd November we did the Sydney Motorcycle & Scooter Show at Homebush with Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. On their stand we promoted the MARI initiative , The Dr Wings Bike Force connection and the support that Maurice Blackburn Lawyers gives to the initiative going forward. It was all about road safety and wearing a good helmet. On the stand we had a brand new helmet for 2016 the VOZZ Helmet. Australian Owned and Designed. It is a real trail Blazer helmet with no Chin Strap for added safety. For more information look at helmets on www.motorcyclegear.com.au site.

On the 8th June 2016 stage four , where we held seminars with both Motorcyclists and hospital staff in the major trauma centre's in Melbourne.

In early 2017 stage five, we held seminars in NSW, and they were very successful. late 2017 and into 2018 Ken was get over major heart attack drama. On the mend now 3 and a bit years later.

 

        At that time though we are trying to finalize the Seventh leg hoping to start in October 2019 We did the Townsville Far North Queensland trip.

This was a huge success. It was hosted by RHD. Sharine Milne is the owner/ head mechanic. Known as "SPANNER" to her Mates. She is an exceptional lady with a big heart. She is assisting riders from Rockhampton to the cape. She is also the North Queensland representative for M.A.R.I and the DR Wings Team.

Since 2019 it has been to hard to do trips to assist riders or conduct seminars due to COVID-19. With all the border closures not sure when it will b e up and running again. 2021 we hope.

Were hoping to add an additional sixth leg through NSW / Victoria finishing at the South Australian border in 2021.

 

                                         

                           DR Wings Bike Force "Ride Throughout Australia" The Event was to raise much needed funds and awareness for M.A.R.I the (Motor Cycle Accident Rehabilitation Initiative)

    After a very successful event in 2012 into 2013, we commenced the 2014 Ride on 26th April 2014. 

   The trip stared in Sydney and ran over a grueling 12,500 + kilometers, our motor cyclists trekked over Australia passing through four states and one territory over six and a half weeks, returning home to the Central Coast on around the 15th June 2014.

    Since this we have completed our Queensland leg from Moree to Cairns and stopping at Hospitals all the way down the coast line to the Gold Coast NSW border.

    Further to that we now how a major chunk of NSW from Albury/Wodonga back to Tamworth involved as well as in Sydney it self.

     A big thanks to all our sponsors and supporters for all the trips so far.
